Die Klinge besteht aus Damaststahl (120 Lagen). Die beiden Stahlsorten wurden unter Hitze und Druck miteinander verschweißt. Der Manganstahl 1.2842 zeichnet dunkel und der Nickelstahl 75Ni8 zeichnet hell. Ein Damastmuster ist einmalig wie ein Fingerabdruck. Am Griffende ist der Doppelbock in Messing angebracht.
